Little Steppers Pre-K Irish Dance

Wednesdays from 5:00-5:30pm    Starting Sept 12, 2018      $35/month

This one-of-a-kind program is specially designed for preschool age children (recommended ages 3- young 5s). Classes include basic Irish dance moves, singing and games, and the dancers will even learn to count in Irish. Benefits include the development of coordination, balance, musicality and listening skills. Irish soft shoes are not required for this class. Black ballet slippers may be worn by girls, and black split-soled jazz shoes may be worn by boys.

 

Beginner for ages 5-7

Wednesdays from 5:30-6:15pm    Starting Sept 12, 2018     $50/month

Dancers learn the basic moves of Irish dance in a fun and exciting way. This introductory course will feature both traditional soft shoe steps such as the beginner jig and reel, and choreographed performance routines. Dancers will learn proper technique and posture while developing their coordination, rhythm and timing.

 

Beginner for ages 7+

Mondays from 6:15-7:00pm     Starting Sept 10, 2018    $50/month

Dancers are introduced to Irish dance with easy jigs and reels. Recommended for older beginners. This class moves at a faster pace than the beginner 5+ class. No dance experience necessary.

 

Parent and Me Irish Dance

Saturdays from 10:30-11:00am  Starting Sept 22, 2018    $32/month

The Parent and Me class is designed for children ages 18 months to 3.5 years, and an accompanying adult. This class introduces the young student to the building blocks of Irish dance in a fun and interactive way. There’s nothing quite like traditional Irish music to get those little feet moving!

 

Adult Beginner

Saturdays from 9:15-10:15am    Starting Sept 22, 2018      $45/month

No prior dance experience necessary! This class is perfect for adults and older teens who are interested in Irish dance. The class covers the basic moves and proper technique of Irish dance. Once dancers are proficient in soft shoe steps, hard shoes may be introduced to this course per teacher discretion.
